@Cathrin and Prashant.: when are u people posting ur residence agreement back..

@ Aditya: I'll post it on Monday, but minus the self-addressed envelope. Instead I'll add a letter saying I'll pick up my signed copy of the agreement from the residence office when I get there. Seems to be the easiest way...

@ Liza: The enrolment pack was supposed to come at the end of August (Ha!), therefore I expect to get it early next week as Germany isn't that far from England. To India it might take a few days more, huh? Since we've all confirmed our places ages ago, I really don't know why they're taking so long.

@Cathrin.. i will also do the same plus will add a self addressed envelope too (though no stamps),, u never know they may say the agreement is not complete since u haven't returned the self addressed envelope... so i'm not taking any chances..

and what have u decided on Direct Debit Mandate and King's College health centre (NHS and GMS1) forms.
i am planning to take Direct Debit Mandate and King's College health centre (NHS and GMS1) forms with me to London rather then posting it.. for direct debit i confirmed from credit managment, last date for its submission is 30th sep. and this form is for paying accommodation fee directly from ur account in london.. and nhs and gms1 forms also i will submit on reaching london...

So for agreement i am planning to post
    1) two copies of residence agreement (in blue color)
    2) two passport size photographs
3)letter stating that i will collect the copy of my residence contract on reaching London. nd mentioning about my initial deposit with receipt No.
    4)self addressed envelope.
    5)emergency medical questionnaire
    6)electrical appliances form

Kindly let me know if i have missed something..

@ Sanghi (I am confused about first and last names here. Do you go by Aditya or Sanghi? Sorry for being ignorant...) : I will send exactly the same things as you. I will add the envelope, too, I agree with you to better be safe than sorry. My agreements are yellow, not blue, but that might just be because we're in different residences. I will send the Direct Debite Mandate now, too, because I already have a London bank account. I will sort out the NHS stuff when I get there, though.

@ Everyone: Hey, how about a little get-together once we're all in London? We could meet up on Sunday night (14th) or Monday night (15th) and get to know each other a little in person? I think that would be nice. Maybe Prashant could sort out a good place to meet since he seems to be the one getting there first? What do you think?

    @ Cathrin

The get-together seems like a wonderful idea. Most of us in this group would have reached by then. I am ok with either the 14th or 15th.

I am currently in the US- philadelphia to be exact. Thought i would get the contract sooner as compared to India, but apparently not. Anywayz my waiting continues for the elusive accomodation contract and enrolment pack.

    @ Ujjwala

You have company dear, we both r in the same boat.

@Cathrin: it won't matter much whether u call me Sanghi or Aditya.. atleast u calling me by my name :).. otherwise Aditya is my first name and Sanghi is my family name... if its difficult to remember u can just call me Adi. which all my friends call me here...some time friends call me Sanghi also so it really don't matter much to me.
i am sure ur friends must be calling u "Cat"..(just a joke)

Regarding Agreement pack: its great that u already have a bank account in London so DDM wont be a prob for u.. Honestly i am not much clear on the Direct Debite Mandate issue.whether its necessary for us to fill this form.. in case if i want to choose alternate option for paying my accommodation fees then what is need of Direct Debite Mandate form..? if u are clear on this plz elaborate.

further on NHS stuff, Cathrin now i am planning to post it.. i have gone through the nhs forms.. its not that complicated.. only issue is of london address. i will give the stamford address... only room no. will be missing.. that shouldn't be much of a prob. once ur name and other details are present..

    Keep me updated Cathrin.

    cheers
    Sanghi@Aditya@Adi
