    Hi Ujjwala

I did receive an email confirmation from the KCL office about the orientation but that was quite some time ago. They sent another reminder mail about a week back and asked only those persons to respond to the mail, who were not going to attend the orientation. Just call them up, they take ages to respond to emails. The contract is probably not that relevant to attending the orientation so long as you pay the 150 pound deposit and send the contract as soon as you receive it.

I emailed Wolfson House about the 13th September moving in date and informed them that I'd like to move in on 9th September. They confirmed an earlier moving in date of 9th for me but I'll have to stay as a guest and pay 22 pounds a night instead of the KCL student rate which is about 17.50 pounds per night.

The orientation is fully booked for the 10th to 12th session, so unless you applied well in time you'll probably have to attend the shorter sessions after the main orientation. Just call them up and ask them. It's easier than waiting for their email response. :)

    Hi Prashant!
Thank you so much! I need to call the addmissions office or the School? I will call them on Monday. I think there is still some place left in the Orientation on the 15th! I want to attend that one because Il be reaching London on the 13th! I paid the deposit yesterday and told them that I havent received the Contract yet! Is it advisable to do wire transfer for the tuition and accommodation Fees?Or are you taking the Drafts with you?
    Cheers!!!!!

    Hi everyone!

I have two questions regarding the accommodation pack:

    a) on the health service registration form, when you're asked to provide your London address, do you just put in the address of your residence, without bothering with your room number? Or do you wait until you have your complete address (i. e. until you're in London) before posting the registration form?

    b) how do you go about including a STAMPED self-addressed envelope for the residence agreement to be sent back to you? I don't have UK stamps here... Besides, the agreement won't be back here before I leave for London anyway, so do I put my London address (again, without the room number) on the envelope?

Only 2 weeks to go, wohoo! :)
    Cat.

@Ujjawala: I think you can call up the International Marketing team on +442078483388. They should be able to help out. Wire transfer is the best option if someone can do it for you while you're in London.

I plan to take the drafts with me because I want the finances in my control. LOL. Too much can go wrong even during wire transfer as I have experienced earlier. I'll just open my account in London, deposit the drafts there and issue cheques for the tuition and accommodation expenses.

    Hey Prashant!
Thanks ya! I think I'll do that as well! Lets see! Havent received my residence pack yet and its really making me very anxious! I dont know what formalities need to be completed in the form! Do you think they send the forms via email? I think Ill have to request them for that! I think Im the only one who hasnt received it yet! Do you have any other solution?

    Hey Cathrin!
This is Ujjwala. Wish I could help you with your queries but I have no clue about it because I am yet to receive my residence pack!:(

    Hey Liza!
    Did you get your contract?

@ Ujjwala: Hi! :) As long as you call your residence on Monday and pay the deposit I don't think you need to worry about the residence pack. The deposit secures your place, then it's not so bad when the signed contract does not get there by September 3rd.
