Aug 27 2008, 09:46 AMHi
I received my Residence Contract today. They send it by Royal Mail (Air Mail). It's dated 18th August which means it took 9 days to reach me.
Haven't been through it as yet since I'm just too busy with work, but will look through it at night. I'll probably pay the fees through credit card tomorrow. I'm sure the signed agreement will reach by 3rd if I sign it today and send it by DHL but better not to take a chance.

Aug 27 2008, 11:21 AMYeah Aditya I guess you all will also receive it today or in the next couple of days. I've also paid the 150 pound deposit over the phone using my credit card. So I'm relaxed and chilled now. Gonna party for the next 2 weeks. :)))

Aug 27 2008, 12:51 PMHi all
I called up hampstead and paid the deposit, so nw my place is secure. Thatz one hassle less.
As regards the contract hard copy, they said that if i did not get the contract within this week I need not send (courier/mail) the signed contract to them. I can take the contract along with me and give it to them when I join on the 14th.

Aug 27 2008, 05:46 PMHey guys I've been given accommodation at the International Hall....could anyone tell me how that is and how far it is from the Strand Campus? I wanted one of the college accommodations and this was my very last option! It costs 137 pounds a week and it's shared bathrooms :( :(

Aug 27 2008, 08:02 PM@Anisha: I've heard International Hall is a fun place. Plus you'll get to meet people from other colleges. Check out feedback on www.thestudentroom.co.uk
Shared bathrooms are okay because the room size will increase for you. Ensuite rooms are smaller in size.
