I want Stamford Street too!! i heard it's rite opposite the strand campus...hey guys thanks for the tips, i'll look up Goodenough College, sounds interesting.

Wow! Ujjwala, ur from B'lore too, how cool is that? I've just graduated from B'lore Institute of Legal Studies (BILS). Lemme guess, ur from ULC is it?R u a fresh grad too? Cool i can talk kannada with someone now!

Guys I learnt so many interesting things at the pre-departure briefing yesterday, mostly a lot abt drugs n alcohol n plagiarism ha ha ha ;) Another thing was that not one of the 100 odd students present there were going for law! Secondly just one of them was going to king’s!!

@Anisha: Well Stamford Street is conveniently located and it has ensuite facilities. But the room size is very small is what I have heard. It was my first preference too but I didn't get it. No sure if that was lucky or unlucky. hahaha.

So tell us did they tell you the good places for alcohol in London?? Where do we get the cheapest good quality stuff. hahaha. Did they say anything useful? LOL.

    Hey!
Prashant, Im so glad that theres someone who is more or less on the same wavelength as mine! I mean since the time Ive decide to do my LLM all Ive heard is that the job opportunities are more or less the same! But I chose King's for very different reasons!

Hey Anisha, Im sorry to disappoint you but my Kannada is 'nil'! Thats coz Im a North Indian, and I didnt bother to learn when I was in Blore!(Which I regret not doing now!)Dont worry about the accomodation, it'l all be sorted out soon! But try outside also as you dont want to lose out on options! I am not from ULC, am from Bishop Cotton Law College!Did participate in your All India Moot aswell!

Hey Liza! All this while I wanted to specialise in IPR,but now Human rights also appeals to me! So to tell you frankly am really confused! Any suggestions?:)

Hi Aditya! Good to hear that your going to be around! So when do you leave? 13th I assume?

    Hi Ujjwala

I'm also glad that someone else is doing the LLM for a different reason other than a job. I don't need the LLM for a job that I'm sure about. But that said, a loan over my head does have it's own share of problems and it does tie you down after the LLM. Much less freedom to decide things since the loan has to be paid off. Still I have always wanted to study the mainstream subjects like International Finance, M&A etc. so I'm happy now after all the agonizing I have done in the past few months. :)

All the best with the subject choice.

    Hi Ujjwala

If you are confused about the modules to take, what I suggest is as of nw you make a provisional selection so that college requirement is met. Once you reach there, you can sit in the classes and then decide what you really want to do. You can then revise your modules, you have about a week to decide.

So no worries. Anywayz all the best

Oh my God! U were at Kalinda?? I don't believe it! Ha ha ha then em sure we've crossed paths! I was in first yr when that happened. So did u pass out this year too? Wat are ur reasons for doing the LLM and y King's, plz do tell me?! Em planning to leave on the 13th too with some frens who are heading to Queen Mary's, but they will be picked up from the air port n I will just be lost! How come King's does not have any pick up days? :( Have u blocked ur tickets yet?

Guys, one more clarification, my consultants told me a health insurance is a must but my frens tell me that since we’re covered under the national health scheme or something, we don’t really need one. Wats ur take on this? Do we need it or not?

Well prashant, it was more fun than any real information. They said all of us will end up having alcohol (quite a generalization! ;) but they asked us to draw our line n not make a fool of ourselves. As far as drugs go, just don’t do them. Period. ‘Cause if the college gets a whiff of it, they just send us home. Plagiarism…to put it simply, they said assignments and dissertations don’t work like they do in India, so be warned! Do they know us or wat, atleast me for sure! So no more cut, copy n paste…;)

But even I could have told u all these things, so no big deal. N no, they didn't tell me good places to go drinking, damn them! ;) But they did tell me that primax is a good place to buy warm clothes at affordable prices...

Prashant I know what you mean! But then I guess for now we can just enjoy the experience!;)

Thanks Liza,I intend on doing that! I guess its so much better that way!So when are you heading to London?

Anisha, you just had a Moot in March right?Am talking bout that one! BILS is on RV Rd if Im not mistaken? You know what? I feel its always better to get yourself insured before you are heading out!But thats my opinion! I hope you have taken the directions for Primax?I wouldnt mind checking it out!;) I dont know about the pick up right now. I guess my consultants will arrange something?
I havent really booked my tickets but Jet Airways it is!what bout you?when do you fly out of Blore?
