Jul 15 2009, 08:01 AMI don't know about how good Hamstead is, but I think we should be able to terminate the contract during the academic year. We'll have to pay for it in three installments, for every term separately. My guess is that it should be possible to terminate the contract by the end of each trimester. The terms will probably be indicated in the residence agreement that we'll have to sign and if early termination is not possible you can always not sign the agreement and look for sth else. What we got is still a provisional offer not an actual residence agreement.
Shweta, if time is a problem, you can send an acceptance by fax.
If any of you hear anything about how Hamstead is, do write.

Jul 15 2009, 08:47 AMAs a londoner, i affirm you that Hamstead is one of the best area of london, just a pity that is so far from king's, especially when you begin class at 9 and you have to take this crowded tube which make u in bad mood ;)

Jul 15 2009, 11:44 AMHi Riad, the time of the travel depends on which hamstead you are, because they are 4 (south H, west H, hamstead and H heat). From H south, you have to catch the overground until king's cross and then the northern line to embankment then walk like 5min until strand (30 min travel); from west H catch the jubilee until westminster then the district or circle to Temple, this is strand's tube station (20-25min); from Hamstead central, catch the northern euston side until embakment and then walk to strand ( 25 min); finally from H heath, is better to walk like 10 min until Hamstead to catch the northern line, in total it will takes you 35 min or 40 depends on your rythm of walking...
