Jun 08 2009, 04:26 PMwell I was thinking to wait and see what we will be allocated in terms of uni accomodation
If we don't like it , maybe we can share a flat close to KCL[Edited Jun 08 2009]

Jun 08 2009, 04:43 PMMy idea is to wait for the accommodation offer and live there for 2 or 3 months to know the city better and then rent a flat. I booked my flight to August 23!!! Cheers!

Jun 09 2009, 12:25 PMi second klara's question.... also @ to Joana i too agree with u coz i was informed by a KCL student that it is better to be with the Uni accomodation for the 1st 3-4 months so that v get to know the place better.... n in case the accomo is not good v can gv a months notice to the authority n move out....guess that shld be fine....btw which subjects/modules r u guys opting for?????

Jun 09 2009, 09:01 PMHi all
I was looking at some flats in London and there were some in central London that were reasonable. In fact some of them were offering single bedrooms with bathrooms(and all other facilities like internet, launderette etc etc) for the price we are paying to get a shared accommodation in the halls.
My only problem with taking one of these is that I do want to socialize with other students and staying alone might prove to be a hurdle.
The idea of staying for a month and then moving out seems feasible..However can we do this?Or is there a contract with a fixed term of stay.
Klara,I'm taking up IPR
