What a silent group this is. lol. Everyone seems to be really busy with work/ preparations for the LLM at KCL. What's everyone up to?

    Hi Prashant,

I am mostly online, but really can't tell you for what reason:)) At this very time I waiting for KCL to throw me at least a scanned version of my acceptance so that I could provide it to the bank for Loan. This is driving me crazy, because KCL does not even bother. Accomodation and job prospective is on agenda too. Anddd I am still working for my Law Firm:)

Question: Has anyone applied for part-time?

    Hi Liza and Lina

Liza, I'm not jobless. lol. Whatever gave you that idea? lol. But I do have the luxury of picking and choosing the work which I want to do since I'm working more as a consultant now. Of course not taking on too much work right now and just trying to complete the pending work before I leave for KCL. But there's enough pending work in combination with the visa, finances etc. for the LLM to drive me nuts. Do manage to find time for the Euro 2008 though. lol.

Lina, you should write them lots of emails. Maybe you'll get lucky. :)))) Incidentally they send you the formal acceptance letter by regular airmail, so maybe it's stuck in the post. Check with them and find out if they've dispatched it or not. I got my hard copy letter 10-12 days after receiving the email confirmation of the unconditional offer.

    Hi Liza

I know you were pulling my leg. :))) Don't worry. Technically I'm self employed which in some situations is worse than being jobless. hahaha.

    Hi

I was just seeing that there are 57 members in this group. But only 8 have posted over here. Where are the others? :)))

The others are observing I presume:)) how do the preparations go? Awfully on my side.KCL does not support me at all, they wouldn't even bother to send me a scanned version of the offer letter, even though they know my situation pretty well.
So is there anyone out of 57 intending to take commercial and financial law???

actually, I'm planning to take commercial and financial law.
I'll be comig to London just a few days before the courses start. I was there to see the university two weeks ago, it is very centrally located (at least the Strand site).
I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

LOL@observing. Preparations are not happening right now. Too busy with transactions for the past few days but luckily I decide the timelines for my clients' instead of them telling me. lol. Have to finish my pending work before I reach London. But by July end I'll apply for the visa. Things will only become busier from now on. :))

I suppose you'll just have to wait for the hard copy letter. What's happening on your accommodation? Have you managed to get some info on that?

I'm taking the LLM in International Finance. Unless of course I change my mind after attending the first week of classes. Apparently you can attend all the lectures in subjects of interest to you in the first week of classes and then finally decide what subjects to opt for.
