  Not as yet Bhargav. There's no payment while submitting your online accommodation application. Just apply.
  
  You only have to pay a deposit of about 150 pounds once you're given the accommodation and have to send back the signed Residence Agreement. But the timeline for acceptance of your accommodation and payment of the deposit is very thin. So you need to ensure that you send back the signed Residence Agreement and your deposit to KCL within the timeline.
  
  The accommodation results will be informed by KCL sometime in June.

  I'll be in London by September 9, 2008. I think there is a long orientation/ induction from September 10, 2008 to September 12, 2008. There will be shorter orientation/ induction sessions after that for those who miss the earlier session. Exact dates will need to be confirmed from the international office at KCL.
  
  The college has written to me stating that I have to be in London by the week beginning September 15, 2008.
  
  Provisional semester dates for the course are:
  September 22 2008 to December 12, 2008
  January 12, 2009 to March 27, 2009
  April 17, 2009 to June 12, 2009
  June 13, 2009 to September 2009 - Dissertation etc.
  
  All the best for the loan. It's heavily loaded against the students with interest rates between 12% and 13.5 %, third party guarantees and collateral of similar value if the loan amount is more than Rs. 7.5 lakhs.

  I also got a letter from the college asking me to be in London by the week beginning September 15.
