hey people... i m new to this forum...even i don't have much clue about accommodation... btw i vil be arriving on 19th... hope that's not too late.. c u people very soon..

Hi Trishala,

yeah i have seen my flat and conducted all the necessary verification before finalising the booking. also, one of my classmates from college has just completed her LL.M from Kings(2008-09) and was staying in a flat in the same building, so im convinced that my accomodation is genuine. if you're planning on booking where i have, u can do so without worrying.

Hi Trishala,

I also stay in a private accomodation just next to Finchley road station (Hamptstead). It is close to the center and the area is good.
Gumtree is a good tool, however, some of my friends did have a bad experience with it (landlord who wanted a caution before seeing the flat, or before signing any contract and giving the key) but in most of cases the system is quite good.
