Hi, I havn't read through this thread so this might have been said already. The main campus is on the Strand but many law classes also take place in the Waterloo campus.

The area around the Strand is amongst the most expensive in London - cheaper nearby areas that are popular with Kings students include; Kennington, Oval and Elephant & Castle which are significantly cheaper and about 20 minutes from the campus by bus, quicker by tube.

gumtree.com is a really good site for finding flatshares and private accomodation.

    Hi Trishala,
I'm staying in private accommodation. I felt like I was too long out of college to go back to university housing, but I'm slightly worried about missing out on all the fun too! I found my flat through www.primelocation.com.

Hi Subhan I am also worried about being away from all of the activities but I also want some comforts- bathroom etc Also from my look online there are a lot of private places that are significantly cheaper than school accommodation that give a lots of facilities. i plan to visit some flats before deciding In what area is your flat??

Tishala - my place is in Notting Hill. It's not exactly near the college, but it's still in zone 1.

Did anyone try finding private accommodation through gumtree.com and find that most of the ads there are scams? Sanjukta did you see your flat before deciding?
