What are your plans? Where are you going for the LLM?

Jun 01 2008, 08:25 PMHi Prashant
My original plan was to attend NUS, but I could not go there this year for personal reasons. So I'm currently looking at the options for next year. UK sounds interesting as well, but financing is an issue.
What about you? Are you heading to King's or UCL? Did you get a scholarship?

Jun 01 2008, 08:43 PMI didn't apply to UCl at all. I'm heading for KCL in September 2008. I'm still waiting for the scholarship results. But even if I don't get one, I'll probably go. It's the right time to go for me. :))
All the best for next year. Financing is always the issue unfortunately.

Jun 07 2008, 04:09 PMHi Navitha
I don't think there should be any problem in getting the Visa. Hopefully not. lol. I'll give them the same certificate which I submitted to KCL or they can call me for an interview. In addition I'll be submitting my marksheets of 12th also, in which I got a 80 in English, so I'm not that worried.
I'm certainly not wasting my time and money on the IELTS especially when I don't need it. No plans of writing IELTS/ TOEFL for the moment unless it's absolutely necessary.
Don't know much about De Mortfort University.

Jun 09 2008, 08:51 AMJust popped in to give some info...
If you have an unconditional offer from a university then it does nt matter (for visa) whether you have cleared IELTS or not.
I know this by my own experience, Currently I am doing LLM at Uni of Warwick and I never went for IELTS...[Edited Jun 09 2008]
