May 15 2010, 07:49 PMHello!!
I got admitted, too, I am doing the PJD specialisation. I am really looking forward to it!!
I got admitted at Geneva, too. But I rejected, mainly because of the extremely unfriendly treatment I received during the enrolment process and the fact that they want their money really early, and my financing was not sorted out yet. ( will have an interview for a scholarship on monday...)
I am very uncertian about the housing thing, I will be in Ghana until the 22nd of August, so that I wont really have time to look for a flat myself, on the other hand, if the uni housing is really not that nice and expensive, I might just take the risk and search online for a private flat... hm dunno about that.
I am looking forward to meeting you all!
Caro.

May 16 2010, 07:04 AMHey Rhia!
Thank you! I applied for a DAAD scholarship, that's a German institution. I hope it will work out! I was too late for the HSP... But luckily, since I am German I do not need a visa.
I think I will just apply for uni housing, and I can still make up my mind until the end of may (I guess you can still reject the application, after all the deposit is only due on 1st of June). I asked a friend who is living in Amsterdam, she is Dutch, what she knows about the housing situation in Leiden and Den Haag, and what she recommends. I can let you know!
