Hi Khanjan: Forget about selecting your modules on-line. They changed it so that we have now a "taster" period (the first 2 weeks) to make our choices.

Finance modules and maybe the commercial banking module.
I understand that you're interested in the same specialization ?

Hi Sujata: Glad to hear that you're taking the finance modules. I do have some experience in this field but I wanted the UK law perspective since I have a civil law background. I applied to KCL/UCL/LSE and opted for the former as I really liked some of the courses (Tennekon, Dalhuisen, Lomnicka and Hooley for the commercial banking).
    How about you?

Hey Riad, I too just applied to KCL and LSE in UK whereas in US I had applied to 6 colleges (NYU, Columbia, Univ of Pensylvania, UC Berkeley, Vanderbilt and UCLA)of which I made to Vanderbilt and UCLA with 18K and15k scholarship respectively but after much careful thought I chose KCL over Vandy and UCLA coz the module at Kings was fantastic. I have worked in financial instutions as in house lawyer and so had decided to specialise in the same field.
Honestly speaking, I didnt know about Tennekon at all, it was only after i interacted with a lawyer who is presently working with Clifford Chance London office (he has done his LLM from NYU and was earlier working with CC's office in NY) told me that Tennekon has written a book on International Finance and is very well known with lawyers working in finance dep of law firms.
Like I wrote in my earlier post, International Finance Law I, II and III (which r of my interest) are common modules/papers in both International Business Law and International Finance Law and some of the modules/paper in International Finance Law are not of my interest especially those relating to European Markets.....so am in a fix which one to chose.

Well I applied only to BU in the US (I am not sure why till now!) and got a 15K scholarship but decided for KCL.
For me it's gonna be the Int Finance LLM or the general LLM (if I take the commercial banking module).
I am working as an in-house as well but I am leaving it to attend KCL.
