Aug 01 2009, 07:04 AMhey meghna, u heard right.... v nearly hv a week wher we will be allowed to attend practically all the classes v wanna take... once we decide which one we like we can finalise on that... that way v get to know how the prof is too... so dont worry once v get thr v can decide our modules... however, once we choose them changeing it later on wld b a lil difficult coz thr might not be seats available on that specific module n moreover u might hv missed the initail introduction to the specific module... so v gotta choose n finalise latest withing two weeks i guess.. though i am not sure of my last sentence...... its better to hv a rough idea of which subjects u wanna take n some of the alternatives b4 u reach... it wil be easier...

Aug 01 2009, 08:16 AMYes! Am in full agreement. Basically cut off the courses that we are NOT going to take, short list the ones which are the ones we ARE going to take and then fit it in order of preference and attend those lectures and then select the ones to meet the 120 or 140 credits required! :) As much as the subject may be interesting, it is also important to know who is teaching. Sometimes, the most interesting subjects are made boring etc. I head one of my seniors at my work place say that Prof. Hooley is pretty good in Banking Law! And obviously Llewlyn is an authority on IP! So there you go... just some thoughts! Like it is important to do subjects of interest, it is also important to ensure that you have the best teacher, which would be good for future job interviews etc! Just a few thoughts!

Aug 01 2009, 10:40 AMHi! Its nice to know if we can again choose, what we want to study. If I remember correctly, I had already chosen my module in the International Business Law online after I was offered admission. If think they had sent an email which had the link to choose the module under the International Business Law.
I am wondering to stick to International Business Law or change it to International Financial Law. I am interested in International Finance Law which is a common paper in both International Business Law and International Financial Law....
Its nice to know that we can still change our specialization subjects.[Edited Aug 03 2009]

Aug 07 2009, 01:28 AMHello! Today I received a "welcome guide for international students" from KCL with loads of information to help me through the last days before moving to London and the first weeks there. There are some useful "check lists" of things I should not forget (i) before I leave home, (ii) on the day of travel and during (ii) the first two weeks.
Cheers. G.

Aug 10 2009, 06:54 PMHello Guys.. I got the unconditional offer at Kings a week ago and am yet to do my visa stuff. As Sujata said above that she received an email having a link to choose modules, I am afraid that I have yet not received any such email. I did received the Welcome guide and the map but not the one with link to choose the modules. Even I intend to take International Finance Law..
Can anyone please help me about selecting/deciding the module well in advance through online.
