Sep 10 2008, 12:49 PMHi everyone
Got my room yesterday after 2.00 p.m. It's on the 15th floor, room number 1513 and I like it. It's got a nice view and is reasonably spacious. No internet access for now which is the worst part because I need the internet now most of all. Will only get internet access once I enrol at KCL. But managing somehow by using the net at LSE through a friend. Still exploring London as a city and still haven't recovered from the jet lag. But I walked to Strand from Wolfson House and it's a nice 35 minute walk along the river most of the time. Good weather for the moment, not too cold but you might need a light jacket for now, which protects you from the cold breeze. Jackets will be better over sweaters.
Going to register for the orientation today at 15.30. Will see what happens thereafter.
@Karolina: Wolfson House is in a nice location. Just very close to the London Bridge Tube station and it's in a nice area. I think you'll like it. My room has lots of light and is spacious enough.
@Vlad: Let's catch up soon. My cell number is 07501812969 for the moment. This might change next week but for now it's functional for some time. Give me a call and we can fix up something for tomorrow or day after. Are you coming for the orientation between 10th and 12th?

Sep 10 2008, 10:51 PMHey everyone,
I am just so tired - all day going around from one end of London to the other for viewings of different apartments - and honestly, I'm quiet disappointed....it proved to be more difficult than what I expected. Anyway, would love to meet any of you tomorrow or any time - which would be like taking a breathe of fresh air! ;-)
Here's my cell (again temporary, though it may be active at least for the next week or 2) - 07531467658.
@ Lina and Prashant - will try to reach you on the phone tomorrow but it will be around noon or a 1-2 pm for I have already two viewing appointments and again riding the Tube...up and down...;-)

I have not yet got the enrolment pack, but then I am not majorly concerned. The enrolment mail says that if you do not get the hard copy of the permit to enrol on time, then you can alwayz get one from them during the enrolment time.
