    Dear Group:

    I am considering UoL for three reasons:

    1) I am an American attorney in overseas practice and I would like to learn more Maritime law.

    2) I would like to study UK companies law for comparison with American corporate law, and

    3) I need complete Westlaw UK access or the equivalent in Lexis/Nexis because I am studying for the QLTS to qualify as an English solicitor.

    As an online student at UoL do you have complete access to Westlaw UK and LexisNexis or is limited in some way?

    I've sent inquires to UoL about this without any response.

    When it comes to the programme quality, rest assured that it is the best and the most reputable distance learning programme from the UK.

    I have yet to start the programme but it will be very soon.
