Apr 11 2009, 06:22 PMHi, All! Very glad to start meeting my course mates. I did my LLB in Durham and finished LPC in 2004. Since then I have practiced Russian law in Moscow. I thought that now is a prime time to develop myself further and see what opportunities there are abroad. I received an unconditional offer from King's last week, which I am intending to take on. Many thanks to Kumar and Edgardo for setting up this and Facebook group. Hope to meet you all soon! Dmitry

Jun 15 2009, 12:49 PMS Kal/Sharika/Althaf: The job market is really bad and this is pushing everyone who is currently employed to reconsider. I am becoming more and more hesitant as well. Next year we will have to compete with this year graduate and lawyers who were made redundant during the crisis.

Jun 15 2009, 01:24 PMRiad, we'll compete only if the international lawyers / graduates stay in the UK until next year.
All, needless to say, if you're doing LLM thinking it as a route to get a job / stay in the UK, you must give it a second thought.
