  yes, that really bothers us. But you know studying in nyc over this city can not change us too much, studying in singapore will also give you a promising in asia, which is where the future lies. Trust yourself, you will be all good if you just give it a try and work for it. And let your own dream guides you. Once decision made, forget about it and move forward. Every minute is just the brick of life itself, which is sometimes more important. Don't worry too much, we trust you can succeed and realize your dream, anyway!

  Hi Konark and Cynthia..Could you copy paste what exactly is written in your offer letter that says you could choose between NYU@NYC and NYU@NUS

  Hi Guys, any of you has accepted the offer? I have not seen anyone getting a scholarship for NYU@NYC. For NYU@NUS the purpose of offering scholarships is just to promote the program. Konark, I guess your query for the bar exam has already been answered still would suggest to visit the link of admitted students for further details...alongwith the requiste credits you shall be required to attend a six week program at the end of the course in NYC if you wish to appear for the exam. Also with a scholarship of 20,000$ it appears that the cumulative cost of the course won't be less than 1.5-1.6 million INR.

  I accepted the offer and enrolled last week. I had applied at several universities and also had other offers from the London School of Economics for example. But I think NYU@NUS is just a great program and will offer an excellent career opportunity.
  
  Many students are dreaming of studying at Harvard, Yale or Columbia. But you need to consider that just a few applications will be successful and that you probably won't get any financial assistance at all. NYU is also among the best US universities and one of the best universities in the world. We are officially NYU students and will be teached by NYU professors even if we will spend most of our time in Singapore. NUS is one of Asia's top universities. I think this program even offers more than the NYC only program. For example, I don't know a single lawyer with 2 LL.M.s and for those who want to visit NCY: We get the chance to do internships afterwards!
  
  After I enrolled last week, I got an Email of a current NYU@NUS student. His professor asked him to contact me to assist me with questions/problems - absolutely great support! He told me a lot about his experiences and he would recommend this program without any doubt. His experiences sound awesome and I'm now really looking forward to this program.
  
  And finally, I want to offer you a European point of view: In Germany we have several big law firms which offer great jobs. At least in Europe, it's a big bonus if you have visited a LL.M. program in addition to your national education. It shows that you have gained experience living in foreign countires and that you have developed your language skills. For employers in Europe it doesnt' really matter where you have done your LL.M. I know very successful lawyers who studied in New Zealand or South Africa or US universities with less reputation. Taking part in NYU@NUS is a big bonus thanks to the reputation of both universities and is more than most of the other lawyers have done. In addition to that, the NYU Dean's award is another important factor. German employers consider this as a big honour.

  hi florian.
  i have also chosen NYU@NUS over NYU in NYC. I agree with u totally regarding the comprehensiveness of the program.. even i have applied to harvard columbia etc but this was my first choice... i had a word with couple of students both ex and present students and they also gave me good reviews about this course.. getting two llm degrees is going to look great on our CV's and i personally think that getting a job in singapore would be relatively easier than NYC.

  I accepted too and am very excited about the program. I have a jd and MBA and the program is great for international work.

  Is anyone going to look for roommates? I got a call also from a current student who shares an apartment with 3 other students each from other countries. I live in the USA.

  hi Steve... congratulations.. u can add me on Facebook.. i go by the same name on fb and my email id is [email protected]... since the university has no accommodation we are bound to stay in evans lodge(which i have heard is not that great) or look for condos( which i think would be a better option).. i am still clueless about where to stay in singapore... but why dont u mail me and we can discuss whatever options u and i have...

  Hello, I also accepted the offer to go to NYU@NUS instead of NYU.
  I am having some trouble getting financial aid from my country (Dominican Republic)
