Dec 26 2007, 04:33 PMCongratulations to all of you who are already admitted to Georgetown. Maybe I am not in the perfect position to start this thread as I still haven't received an admission letter yet. I was just curious when reading about this group on the LLM-Guide. My status is still "complete", so I am pretty nervous right now. Also waiting for NYU and CLS...
Is everyone else admitted already? Are you accepting the offer? Anyway, best of luck to all of us.

Jan 07 2008, 06:41 PMThanks everybody for your encouragement. My application was deferred to the regular process :-(
I am not quite sure what that means for my chances, but I am not losing hope.
@Karan: LLM fees are $19,695 for one year: http://www.law.georgetown.edu/finaff/studaccts/tuition.html. Like any information on the GT website, you need to search a bit to find it. I actually hate that website, especially the admissions status check ;-)
Anyway, congrats to all of you!

Jan 08 2008, 05:18 AMPatricia....the tution fee as shown in the admitted students site is as stated 'Tuition for the 2007-2008 academic year was $39,390 per year, or $19,695 per semester for full-time LL.M. students enrolled in eight or more credits. The 2007-2008 tuition charge for part-time LL.M. students was $1,600 per credit hour.'.
So it is basically double of wat you have understood. But then I guess this is the fee for International Students, though I think the same will be applicable for US Citizens also.

Jan 09 2008, 09:34 AMI dont think I will be joinf Georgetown, I have got through Melbourne Law School so will probably go there. But If I were to chnage my mind , I would probably go through a students loans(which will be a back breaker) considering veryl little opportunities available for work for International Students (unless ur from the top 3 law schools. Sadly Georgetown doesnt have any scholarships for International Students.
Best of luck to all.
