In this paper I analyze, from the theoretical framework of Michael Walzer's Spheres of Justice, the concept of complex equality and the idea of distributive spheres of justice, and I explore its relation with the economic rulings of the Constitutional Court of Colombia, in cases related to social and economic rights, such as decent housing.
Likewise the paper constitutes a defense of the existence and autonomy of the Court, as well as of its rulings, under the light of the principles, values, and axiological mandates of Colombia`s Constitution of 1991.
