More about me Nemanja Žunić is an Attorney at Law and Junior Partner at Zunic Law Firm Novi Sad.

Nemanja specializes in company law, commercial law, intellectual property, labor & employment and dispute resolution. He has developed a niche expertise within the IT sector, advising on a variety of technology enterprises from start-ups to established IT companies. Nemanja advises on general business and commercial matters, as well as on specific legal issues such as outsourcing, non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property, investment agreements, complex employment matters and restructuring. His primary focus is on complex legal issues, such as the legal protection of software. Nemanja is also one of the founders of an IT start-up “iQdemic”.

Nemanja Žunić completed both Bachelor’s and Master’s law degree at the University of Novi Sad, where he was ranked top 1% of his class. His masters thesis, entitled “Legal Protection of Software”, was graded with distinction. With an established interest in IT law, Nemanja continued his legal education at University College London (UCL), as a scholar of Government of the United Kingdom (Chevening Scholar). Whilst at UCL he obtained LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property Law, specializing in the field of patent protection of software, under the supervision of the distinguished Rt Hon. Professor Sir Robin Jacob.

Besides practicing law Nemanja has for several years worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law, University Business Academy Novi Sad. He writes extensively on the topics of intellectual property and IT law.

During his studies, Nemanja represented his university team at prestigious moot-court law competitions, both on national and international level. In particular, Nemanja competed in Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (King’s College, London), Telders International Law Moot Court Competition (Peace Palace, Hague) and Moot Court National Competition in International Humanitarian Law (Red Cross, Belgrade).

Nemanja is a member of Serbian Bar and Vojvodina Bar Association. He speaks Serbian (native) and English.
