| More about me | I am a 2010 graduate awaiting results of the July Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. I am seeking an associate position with a law firm or organization in either New Jersey, Washington, D.C., or the Philadelphia area. My varied experiences have left me ready to excel in an organization of any size. My law clerk positions with Drinker, Biddle & Reath and the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers have taught me how to function well within a large organization by balancing varied assignments of varied urgency. Additionally, because of my experiences with small firms and solo practitioners, I understand the importance of effective use of limited firm resources. Finally, my work on an oilrig demonstrated the importance of individual responsibility in cooperative environments because while teamwork was critical, individual failings could make the entire rig unsafe. I want to be an impact member of an organization. I have been in the presence of brilliance enough to know when I am out of my depth, yet have had enough successes to be confident in my work. As a self-starter not afraid of hard work, I will put in exceptional effort into assigned tasks and will constantly seek to grow my practice skills. |
