David Benowitz is a founding partner of Price Benowitz LLP, an experienced criminal defense attorney, who represents clients in state as well as federal cases. David has been fighting to protect clients' rights since 1995. He was a Staff Attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia (“PDS”), recognized as the top public defender office in the country, from 1995-2001. David obtained an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy in 2006 from Temple University's Beasley School of Law. He graduated from George Washington University Law School in 1995 where he participated in the DC Law Students in Court Program. Mr. Benowitz has received the highest AV rating by Martindale-Hubbel, has a perfect 10/10 score on the AVVO rating system, and is the only Washington, DC criminal defense lawyer to be board-certified as a criminal trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. With experience in a wide variety of areas of criminal defense such as DUI, drug offenses, gun charges, and sex crimes, attorney David Benowitz is well-equipped to handle a variety of cases and is committed to ensuring that his clients' rights are upheld. |
