| Practice areas | Aleksandr’s practice focuses on Commercial Transactions, Finance, Depository Institutions, Derivatives & Structured Finance, Real Estate Finance and certain aspects of Antitrust & Competition. Aleksandr has experience advising local and international clients on a broad range of matters including corporate law, Financial (banking and securities) law, M&A, Secured transactions, Project finance, Private equity investments, Debt restructuring, Corporate governance, Telecommunications, Construction law, Mining law etc. He has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in connection with corporate finance, And commercial lending transactions. Aleksandr has experience handling all aspects of creating investment firms and fund management companies, And registering new investment funds, Including the establishment of compliance policies and procedures. Mr. Khachaturyan has advised on various local and international commercial transactions involving import and exports of goods and services. |

| More about me | Prior to joining TK Equity Partners Aleksandr served as a legal counsel at Capital Asset Management, one of the leading investment firms in Armenia, where he was responsible for a broad range of legal aspects related to the day-to-day operation of the company, including negotiating and drafting agreements with clients (brokerage, portfolio management, REPO agreements, securities and currency futures etc.), service providers and other counterparts, regulatory and licensing issues (coordination of relations with central bank of Armenia, fiscal authorities), corporate governance matters, ML & TF issues. Aleksandr also served as a senior legal counsel at Corporate Governance Center, a local think-tank advising on corporate governance matters, where he was responsible for in-house, servicing (advised foreign and local partners on corporate governance law and practices in Armenia) and legal research, including conducting researches and participation in broad range of activities aimed at fostering application of good corporate governance in privately and publicly held local institutions. From 2003 to 2007 Aleksandr occupied various positions at the Legal Team of Armenian-European Policy and Legal Advice Centre, an EU funded project providing technical assistance to Armenian Government in connection with implementation of National Program for Implementation of Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Armenia and EU. |
