Let me introduce myself. My nickname on the llm-guide.com is Russ. I have not been too active in the last year as I already finished my LLM ...in 1999. I did my LL.M. at King's College London.

Sep 15 2007, 06:43 PMGenerally, as you will know, Europe is divided on the US policy in Iraq. Most people would be happy if the US troops withdrew from Iraq, but who knows what will happen after that...

Sep 17 2007, 08:50 AMJust to add, though not necessarily Iraq but related to European sentiments on the Middle-East tension: the French Foreign Minister pretty much came out and said that the EU needs to impose heavier sanctions on Iran and if that fails, war is a real possibility. He was very straight and undiplomatic, but he did try and say that it may not be imminent, but it was sort of very strong indication that France would go to war against Iran. Welcome to Planet Sarkozy people. I'd be very surprised if a majority of the French people cared for the French to go to war against Iran!
