  Did you apply for accomodation via the university or are you arraning it by yourselves?
  
  I have applied through the university and I hope I will get the accomodation through them. It`s nicer when you are certain that other roomates will be students as well.
  
  Here is a site I found where you can search for rooms and it`s in English.

  Hi guys, has anyone been offered accommodation yet through UVA? Received an offer yesterday from De Key for Grote Bickersstraat 62 A? Apparently it’s an international student block on an island not far away from the central station and the Jordaan etc. Still trying to find out more about it, but unfortunately you are only given 3 working days to put down a deposit.
