  Hello people. I see no activity here, so I thought I could start...
  
  My name is Ivan Stepanov. I`m from Novi Sad, Serbia, 25 years old,. From September I will be taking the LLM in International and European Law: International Trade and Investment Law.

  Unfortunately I didn`t. I won`t be arriving to Amsterdam prior to 28.8.

  Hey guys!
  
  I am considering the International Trade and Investment Law Track (meaning, I am accepted, but still not fully committed). One of the things that worries me is that it is really difficult to communicate with the school. I am wondering, for those of you who are accepted, have they gotten in touch with you since? Have you been assigned a faculty adviser or given any sense about what the process is from this point on? I did get the housing and (today) some financial info, but that is all.

  I`ve also had difficulties communicating with the faculty. They were late with replies, sometimes they haven`t even bothered to answer back and the dedlines set by themselves were repetedly broken. However my housing e-mail arrived a couple weeks ago and my registration e-mail came a week later.
  
  Basically you`ll get an e-mail where they`ll give you instructions on how to register as a student at UvA. You`ll have all the info you need on the registration site. Likewise through this registration e-mail I`ve discovered the name of my admission officer, with whome I had no contact prior to the that e-mail or afterwards.

  Yes, I think this is somewhat helpful. Of course, now I have to worry about not having gotten the registration email--although they did send out a mass email saying this should be happening in mid-July.
  
  If you don't mind me asking, what made you go for this LLM? As I said before, I am trying to make up my mind still, and I am getting a lot of mixed advice about the usefulness of an LLM degree in general.
