Feb 21 2009, 12:04 PMhey sidney,
I applied to trinity and st johns ! if my memory serves correctly it was for the following reasons:
1- good facilities (sports grounds, etc)
2- decent social life (or so it seems)
3- both are able to provide accomodation at the college for most postgrad applicants.
All the best.[Edited Feb 28 2009]

Mar 10 2009, 11:57 PMHay...guys. I had applied to Jesus and King's College. However, I am not certain whether I have been assigned to a College yet. I have only received an informal email from Ms. Suzanne Wade stating that I have received a conditional offer, which letter will be sent by post in a few weeks time. Any of you have already received a hard-copy offer letter?
In any case, this forum is an ideal place to get to know one another prior to the course. I am looking forward to join you all this October. It seems to be an intensive course, but looks a lot fun with you guys in it! Cheers!
P.S. By the way, I am ALTHAF MARSOOF from Sri Lanka. For those not familiar about the location of my country, it is the island just below India in the South Asia region. I am sure all cricketing fans would surely know Sri Lanka!

Mar 29 2009, 09:24 PMHey guys!
I applied to Darwin and Sidney Sussex - to be honest, it was a random choice :)
I still haven't got a hard-copy offer letter, neither has my CamSis been updated....
P.S. I'm Katarina from Croatia (small and beautiful country in South-East Europe ;) )
Looking forward to meeting you all at Cambridge!

Apr 26 2009, 03:00 PMHi everyone!
I am Marco from Osnabrueck, Germany.
I applied to Darwin and St Edmunds. The first impressions on their websites have been the reasons for these choices. In addition, Darwin is in a central location near to the Law Faculty and I also heard of a friend, who studied at the University of Cambridge, that it has a very good student society. Both colleges are graduate colleges, which also was a criteria.
My Camsis has been updated last week and I think the hardcopy of the offer letter is on its way. However, I still have to meet the English language conditions (0,5 points in the speaking module of the IELTS Test!!!). Hope that I get that done soon and we will all meet in Cambridge in October.
So far...
Marco

I am Carla from Brazil and I was accepted at Wolfson College.
Did any of you hear anything from Cambridge Trusts?
Besides, I've just checked the Faculty of Law website and the final list of subjects is already available.
