In Nigeria medical devices and medicine in general are regulated through the Standard Organisation of Nigeria(SON) which regulates all equipments, within that organisation there is a dept for medical devices.

I follow the portions of the medical device industry that are covered by public and private health insurance in the U.S. (often referred to as "durable medical equipment"). At the federal level, the industry is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration and by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In the Medicaid system, the DME industry is notorious for fraud, waste, and abuse.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina this issue is regulated by the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices on state level. All issues are under the supervision of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices
