Jun 11 2008, 05:44 AMAre you aware that in the computer forensics world (in the USA, at least), experts who work for the defense are denied membership in some tech groups, and hence also denied certifications unique to those groups? What are your thoughts on this practice and do you experience this elsewhere?[Edited Jun 11 2008]

Sep 22 2009, 10:05 PMI think its foul and unfair for defense to be denied access. Any certifications acquired could be useful for defense to provide an adequate legal defense. By not allowing the certifications, it cuts short the prospects of adequate legal defense.
