    Hi guys,
    I applied to 3 colleges and have got offers for all of them - 1) Lund 2) UCL and 3) Geneva IHL
    I want to work in the field of International Human Rights Law in an International Organisation and may be keep the option of practising as a Solicitor in the UK in the area of Human Rights open. Do you have any advice as to the best LLM to take.
    Thanks,
    Amanda.

    I am sorry Amanda, but I do not have experience enough to help you. Go to llm-guide.com, I guess you can find good information there!

    hey amanda,

    it's a tough choice but guess i'd go for UCL if i could afford the tuition fee and all. i don't have any solid reason though, one of my former professors -whom i admired greatly- graduated from there so i have a thing for UCL :)
    ( well, it also ranks higher in the us news and world report's list but honestly i never took that ranking seriously)
    so i agree with alessandra, you'd better contact the alumni of all schools, they can provide you with more useful info

    take care,
    elif

    Hi Amanda,
    i have done the lund llm in 2001, albeit not the one in human rights (i take it you got accepted for the R Wallenberg institute - it is said to be top class for human rights) . Lund is a fine student town with great student life, and I had a great time, winters are not that cold and there is lots to do in town, also, very close to Copenhagen if you prefer a bigger city. I go back to Sweden any day.

    Hope this helps;

    Regards,
    Ramses
